World Travel 101
This facilitated workshop is for groups interested in an introduction to travel and hostelling. Groups learn about hostelling, trip planning, packing, and traveling with an open mind. The one- to two-hour class occurs in our hostels, or requested location for local groups. There is no fee for this workshop. Our most popular class!

Hostel Tour- Come check us out!
Groups can tour the hostel without staying the night, or see the space before their group visits. Groups can view common room spaces, sit on a dorm bed, and chat with guests about their travels, and hostel experiences. There is no fee for this tour.

Join in on the fun
Whether it is a Game Night or BBQ Dinner, we encourage all groups to participate in one of our hosted activities with other guests. You can find a calendar of events here. We are happy to create a custom dinner night for your group. Want to do a Pasta Night on a Tuesday? Need vegan meal options? We can help! There may be a fee some of the requested activities.

Discover the World (Girl Scout approved)
‘Discover the World: Girl Scouts Go Hostelling’ is a patch program. Scouts learn about hostelling and have the option of participating in a scheduled dinner night at one of our hostels. Troops eat and interact with guests. There is a $5.00 meal fee. An overnight is not required.

Cultural Kitchen (Girl Scout approved)
This interactive program teaches scouts about cultural customs and overcoming stereotypes in preparation for a hostel overnight. Leaders are provided with the curriculum. Prior to staying, troops research a culture and plan a meal based on a selected country. During their stay, troops cook a meal, eat with guests, and practice intercultural communication skills.

As we are preparing for an upcoming bridging trip we asked for the World Travel 101 talk. Joelle is a passionate traveler who provided great insight as to how to pack, stay safe and get the most out of travelling to another country. She inspired our girls to start dreaming of where they wish to travel next.
