A Peace Building Conference for Young Adults

The San Diego Council of Hostelling International USA presents the first HI-USA Peace Building Conference. Join young leaders (ages 18 to 29) to discuss ways to expand peace building efforts locally and globally.

Featuring keynote address Building Peace: A Job for Idealists or Pragmatists?
by Dr. Joyce Neu, Executive Director the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace & Justice

  • Discover how you can build a more peaceful world through travel
  • Gain skills in cross-cultural communication, mediation and conflict resolution
  • Help create a collaborative art project with the United Nations Association of San Diego
  • Learn how you can take action in your community
  • Meet like-minded young adults from around the country

    • All meals (Friday dinner through Sunday breakfast)
