This year's conference will take place April 13-14th 2012 at San Diego City College and our Downtown Hostel at 521 Market St.

The theme is:

Creating Peace by Eliminating Systems of Oppression

Our keynote speaker is: Josh Fattal, freed Iranian hiker

Also speaking will be: Russ Hedge, HI-USA CEO

The goal of the conference is to connect young adults and help participants discover both ways they can build peace through social awareness and ways they can create a more peaceful world.

HI-San Diego is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to serve on the planning committee for the 2012 Peace Building Conference.
