Our Hostel
Fun, Friendly, Safe, Clean, and Comfortable, we are the best and most welcoming place for travelers of all ages. Our guests include tourists, families, conventioneers, groups, backpackers, hostellers of all types and from all over the world. We have plenty of common spaces to suit your needs. Enjoy a conversation in our social Living Room, share a meal in our Dining Room, kick-back in our TV Room, have a fierce competition at one of our Game Tables, or spend a quiet moment in our Tropical Courtyard Library. Our Kitchen has everything you would find at home. Blend a smoothie, make some Belgian Waffles, grill up a steak, or bake some muffins, you'll find everything you need. We are the only San Diego hostel with 24 hour reception. For your safety
and convenience there is always staff on duty. Our team is full of friendly

Our Activities
There is something happening every day at HI - San Diego, Downtown. We have free walking tours of Downtown and to Balboa Park and the Museums, and inexpensive Multi-Cultural Dinners. We are always getting free tickets to concerts at the House of Blues. Go Sea Kayaking, take a Bike Tour, or just hang out at the beach.
