Around the World in 80 Minutes

It’s time once again to celebrate the Spirit of Hostelling, HI-San Diego’s Annual Meeting and Party! This year’s theme is “Around the World in 80 Minutes,” where you can tour rooms that represent different countries while sampling food and learning about each nation’s culture. The event will include dinner, raffle prizes, and a silent auction to benefit our cultural education programs.
Prior to the party, our Annual Meeting will be held at 5:00 pm to elect the Board of Directors, honor volunteers, and highlight outstanding members of the hostelling community. The meeting portion of the event is free and open to the public until 5:30pm.
This is also a special opportunity for San Diegans to get the full hostelling experience! Make s’mores and tell your favorite travel stories over a fire, stay in your choice of a dorm, private, or family room, and enjoy breakfast in the morning.
