Donations

As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, Hostelling International USA (HI-USA) relies on individual contributions, corporate donations and foundation funding to support our educational programs and hostel development. Your support will:

• Enable young leaders to gather at the annual HI-USA Peace Building Conference in San Diego to discuss ways to expand peace building efforts locally and globally.
• Prepare community members to travel safely, responsibly, and confidently through our volunteer-led Travel Workshops, including World Travel 101, Women Traveling Solo, and Sustainable Travel.
• Educate youth about cultural understanding through our Cultural Kitchen and Community Walls programs.
• Help us reduce our ecological footprint by greening our Point Loma hostel.

Ways to Give:

Designated Gifts: Your contribution can go directly to a particular hostel or program, i.e. the Point Loma hostel or the Cultural Kitchen youth program.

Planned Gifts: If you would like to make a gift of stock or property, or if you are considering a bequest, HI-USA can put your love of hostelling into action for years to come.

Matching Gifts: Your gift to support hostelling can do even more when your employer matches your gift. Check with your human resource department and see if your employer has a matching gift program.

Combined Federal Campaign/United Way Campaigns: If your workplace participates in state or national Combined Federal Campaigns, consider a payroll deduction to HI-USA.
